I've read about groups of people who have been gathering annually and periodically to honor 11:11 as a type of portal to the higher states of consciousness. Some of these groups have been channeling messages by so called ascended masters and spirit guides, like Tobias, Ashtar and others. Some of these messages are very interesting and resonate at times with what's happening.

I also know that Aquarius, the sign of the coming age, is the 11th sign of the zodiac. Aquarius rules humanitarian causes, hospitals, excentricity, sexual minorities and sexual liberation as well as astrology, astronomy, astronauts, space, sci-fi and UFO cultural movements, basically anything having to do with space. Aquarius also rules friends, friendship and egalitarian relations.

Does anyone else know exactly where this 11:11 phenomenon originated and what it means?
