Nam-myoho-renge-kyo
  • http://sgi-usa.org/buddhism/nam-myoho-renge-kyo.php This is the number one primary practice. Chanting Nam-myoho-renge-kyo unlocks the true Buddha nature that we all hold within ourselves. In other words, it unlocks the true self from within. It is the most energeticly charged chant in existence, and it can help YOU achieve anything. And it’s %100 free! Chanting Nam-myoho-renge-kyo is like having a universal key to all the locked doors inside the self and it helps cope with everything from daily annoyances to not meeting our own expectations of self. But don’t take my word for it! Go here:

Some of my family and friends are SGI members.. I went to a meeting once.. nice diverse group of sincere people... I chant the Lotus daily either in my head or out loud..especially when I need a little kick in my manifestation work. :-) Great Stuff!
Lets all chant the Moon isn't thrown off its orbit tomorrow!
Agreed! Peace Tree is in too! I can't believe they think it's OK to bomb her like that...
So I was reading some literature on SGI-USA's web site today and came across some teachings that say that in order to become wise, and teach or help others in their life, we must endure great suffering. The reason for this it seemed was so that we might better relate to others and have a wide multitude of wisdom that would encourage others not to give up on hope and see suffering as personal growth (That which doesn't kill us only makes us stronger!)

This was great for me due to my most recent trials and tribulations with family and friends. It shows that we are never really done suffering, and some of the best memories in our lives come from our sufferings when we learn how to overcome them

:)
It's also good to remember that suffering does eventually end. There is always a light at the end of the tunnel.
