I'm a vet of the 1960s peace and civil rights movements. I am most concerned right now with the lack of participatory democracy in the US,which has resulted in an obscene maldistribution of income, wealth, and power. I am concerned with a number of contemporary political issues, particularly the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, global warming, and nuclear disarmament.
Name some people who've inspired you.
Bertrand Russell, Albert Einstein, Albert Schweitzer, Gandhi, and many, many dedicated people I've known through my political activity.
What are some of your favorite topics of study?
As mentioned, the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, global warming, and nuclear disarmament. I am committed to a continued study of physics, my chosen profession--at this moment, quantum mechanics, particularly entanglement, decoherence theory, and weak measurement techniques.
